How to cook a ham in your slow cooker
Cooking a ham in your slow cooker is super easy. Most hams are pre-cooked so all you are doing is warming it up. For this recipe we start with a fully cooked ham. We set the slow cooker on low setting for about 6 hours. If you are cooking a larger ham, you may need to adjust the cooking times.
How to make this Slow Cooker Ham with Pineapple & Cherries Recipe
For the ham:
Place the cooked ham into the slow cooker. Pour the apple juice on top, then coat the ham in the mustard glaze. Top with the pineapple slices and the pitted cherries.
Cook in the slow cooker for about 6 hours on low. Once warmed throughout, slice and serve with the vegetables.
For the Roasted Asparagus & Cherry Tomatoes:
Toss the asparagus, tomatoes, and Italian dressing in a medium bowl.
Then pour onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until tender.
Then serve everything hot together when ready to eat.

Slow Cooker Ham & Pineapple
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 pounds fully cooked low-sodium ham
- 1/3 cup 100% apple juice
- 1/2 pineapple cored, sliced
- 1/2 cup cherries pitted
Roasted Asparagus & Cherry Tomatoes
- 2 cups asparagus trimmed, cut into 1’’ pieces
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes halved
- 2 tablespoons Italian dressing
Instructions
Slow Cooker Ham & Pineapple
- Place ham in slow cooker. Pour apple juice on top, then coat ham in mustard glaze. Top with pineapple slices and cherries.
- Cook in slow cooker 6 hours on low.
