Have you tried the latest TikTok upside-down puff pastry trend? If you haven’t, now is the time! We made it for the first time to celebrate fall! Upside Down Puff Pastry with apples

All you need is refrigerated puff pastry sheets, sliced Envy apples, and honey.

How to make Upside Down Apple Puff Pastry

Place your sliced apples on a parchment lined baking sheet, and then place your honey on top of the sliced fruit. Put your puff pastry on the very top. Placing the pastry on top will give you crisp, flaky, layers that just melt in your mouth, and having the fruit on the bottom ensures that it gets flavorfully caramelized.

How do I store the apple tarts leftovers?

Before storing the leftover pastries allow them to cool down to room temperature. Then you can place them in an airtight container for up to three days. If your pastries contain cheese they will need to be refrigerated. Keep in mind that puff pastry becomes soggy the longer it is stored.

Easy Apple Tarts

Can you freeze upside down puff pastries?

Yes, you can freeze these upside down puff pastries, however, keep in mind that the texture of your puff pastry may be affected by the freezing process. If you are going to freeze them, wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and freeze for up to a month.

When you take them out of the freezer just set them in the refrigerator to thaw overnight. You can gently warm them just before serving.
