How to make this Vidalia Onion Salad Dressing at Home

Step 1:

Get out your food processor, immersion blender, or blender. Then add the onion, vinegar, sugar, mustard, pepper, and salt. Blend until well pureed and smooth.

Step 2:

Slowly add in the olive oil, a little at a time, through the hole in the top of the blender or food processor and continue to blend until all is combined and smooth.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 large chopped onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons creamy Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Add onion, vinegar, sugar, mustard, pepper and salt to blender or food processor. Blend until well pureed.
  2. While running, add oil, a little at a time, through the hole in the top of the blender or food processor until dressing is creamy.
