This simple lemon garlic roasted artisan broccoli is the perfect side dish to pair with any meal. Artisan broccoli, garlic, lemon juice and oil are all you need for this tasty recipe.

Side dishes can sometimes be an afterthought during busy weeks. We often find ourselves steaming green beans or prepping a quick salad for easy sides.

Roasting veggies is one of my favorite ways to enjoy everything from broccoli and Brussels sprouts to carrots and cauliflower. Roasting brings out any natural sweetness in the vegetables and gives them a great texture.

Often with kids, we’re using to preparing vegetables one way. With broccoli, it was always steamed growing up (and probably topped with cheese).

If your kids are having a hard time with a vegetable, look at other ways to prepare it. Maybe they like it raw with Ranch for dipping or steamed, mashed, roasted or sautéed.

This recipe adds lots of flavor to artisan broccoli with garlic and fresh lemon juice. Lemon juice is a great way to really brighten up the flavor of dishes without adding lots of salt.

As an easy side dish, it’s still elegant enough to serve for Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas or any other special occasion!
