We have a super simple, fun, and festive treat for you this holiday season. Everyone will love this Red-Nose Reindeer Snack and they are sure to liven up any holiday party or get together.

I absolutely love the holiday season and making fun recipes and crafts with the kids. Especially when they are off of school I try to take some time to come up with some new treats that we can make together. Making them healthy is a mission of ours, too. The kids thought these Red-Nose Reindeer Snacks were fun and of course delicious. You can’t go wrong with apples, grapes, pretzels, and chocolate chips!

How to make Rudolph the Red nose Reindeer Snacks out of apples

Last week we made some Snowman Fruit Kabobs and Rudolph Grilled Cheese as a quick snack and activity. Both were a hit with the kids so I knew we had to try something else this week. Sometimes I over think projects but sometimes I go with simple as possible. These apple snacks are pretty much as easy as it gets, which is prefect especially on busy nights as the holidays approach.

So if you are looking for a simple yet fun idea this Winter, make sure to try these little reindeer apple snacks. These make a great snack to pack for lunch or an after school snack, too. You could even serve them as dessert after a festive meal like our Mini Christmas Tree Pizzas! Whenever you make them, I promise you and the family will enjoy!

What we love about apples

We have all heard it before that an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but really apples are such a great fruit to keep around the house! One, mostly everyone loves a good apple. I know I do and the kids favor them, too. They are loaded in fiber and antioxidants. Apples have properties that are great in helping our brains, too! They also have benefits that are linked to helping lower the risk of diabetes. I could go on and on so make sure to keep them stocked up at your house.

How to Store Apples

Apples can easily absorb scents of other foods so it is best to store them with their peels on in a crisper drawer away from other foods. When you are ready to eat them, make sure you give them a quick wash.
