It is pretty, tastes good, and the whole family can enjoy it. Best part, it is very simple to assemble in a pitcher and to serve to a crowd.

For our holiday entertaining we always prep up some fun snack boards, some main entrees like a ham, and of course festive treats. Well I was at a party last year and they had a signature cocktail and I loved the idea. So instead of making a signature cocktail, I decided to make this pomegranate holiday mocktail our signature drink. The guests thought it was fun and everyone said how creative and delicious it was! The kids enjoyed it, too! Everyone can feel extra “fancy” this holiday season with this non-alcoholic drink recipe.

  • Pomegranate Juice
  • Frozen Cranberries
  • Limes
  • Mint
  • Agave Nectar

If you have never had pomegranate juice, you are missing out! It has wonderful flavor and is loaded with Vitamin C, anti-oxidants, fiber, folate, and even cancer fighting properties. The juice does contain a bit of sugar so just keep an eye on that for certain diets. Pomegranates are great for your heart health and can even help support joint health.

How to make this Holiday Pomegranate Mocktail

First mix the pomegranate juice, soda water, lime juice, agave nectar, and mint in a pitcher. Stir well and let stand 15 minutes.

Pour the mixture over ice and garnish with frozen cranberries and additional mint.

You can make the drink extra festive with a sugar rim. To make one just squeeze a small amount of lime juice in a small bowl or on a plate. Then place the sugar on a second one. Dip the cup or glass into the lime juice, then into the sugar. Don’t forget to garnish with fresh mint!

You can even freeze cranberries and fresh mint into ice cubes! Just fill an ice cube tray with cranberries and mint leaves. Then pour near-boiling water on top and place in the freezer. Using boiling water instead of room temperature or cold water. Why do that? You will get clearer ice cubes!
