Chocolatey Fruit Skewers

Looking for a fun treat that the kids and adults alike will adore? These fun Chocolatey Fruit Skewers are simple to prepare and are the perfect combination of sweet and healthy. Serve them at the next birthday party or holiday for an easy treat.

Sometimes we crave something a little sweet. Sometimes we crave a little chocolate. It can be tempting to grab a quick chocolate bar at the grocery store or pick up a chocolate shake from a fast food place. Well, that is why we are always whipping up quick and easy healthier snacks to have on hand at our house. Last week we made some Chocolate Yogurt Fruit Dip to have the kids dip into and eat more fruit.

Fruit skewers with chocolate syrup

This week I had bought a variety of fruit so we made these Chocolatey Fruit Skewers. We loaded them up with pound cake, strawberries, raspberries, and pineapple. Drizzled with a little chocolate syrup made these the perfect sweet treat! These fruit skewers would make a nice Valentine’s Day treat or even a great snack on a platter for the holidays.

Nutrition Tip: Pineapples contain bromelain, an enzyme that has been shown to help your body digest proteins, therefore reducing bloating and inflammation.

Since these healthy fruit skewers use strawberries, pineapple, and raspberries, these skewers are loaded with some powerful health benefits. We are powering up with Vitamin C, potassium, fiber, and even some great heart healthy benefits. Pineapple is even known to be great for our mental health, too. So these are great for the Winter months when we have the Winter blues.
