This recipe is great for a main meal, for the lunchbox, or an after school snack. These quesadillas are packed with 14g of protein to keep little ones fueled through the school day or even soccer practice.

Key Ingredients for these Bacon, Apple & Cheddar Quesadillas
- Whole Wheat Tortillas
- Cheddar Cheese
Yes! This recipe is that simple and loaded with flavor. We had some bagged sliced apples that we bought for lunches, but if you have fresh apples just slice them thinner. If you like turkey bacon, go ahead and use that instead, too. Either way you can’t go wrong with the flavors inside of these quesadillas. We use whole wheat tortillas when we can but regular works fine as well.
How to cook the bacon for these quesadillas
Use your favorite method for cooking bacon. If you prefer the classic way, cook on the stove top. If you like an easier clean up, bake them in the oven. Have you tried bacon in the Air Fryer, yet? Turns our perfectly with less mess, too.
How to make these Bacon, Apple & Cheddar Quesadillas
First cook your bacon to your liking and set aside. Then spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat.
Once the skillet is hot, place one tortilla into the skillet. On half of the tortilla, add 4 apple slices, ¼ cup cheddar cheese, and 1 slice of cooked bacon. Fold over tortilla.
Then let cook for about 2-3 minutes, flip and cook an additional 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Place quesadilla on a cutting board and slice. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Serve warm and enjoy!

- 3 2oz. bags of apple slices
- 4 8-inch whole-wheat tortillas
- 1 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bacon cooked
- Spray large skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Place one tortilla in skillet. On half of tortilla, add 4 apple slices, ¼ cup cheddar cheese, and 1 slice cooked bacon. Fold over tortilla. Cook 2-3 minutes, flip and cook additional 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
- Place quesadilla on a cutting board and slice. Repeat with remaining tortillas
