6 Kid-Friendly Recipes Inspired by Eric Carle Books
Reading books with my boys is such a special time. Like many of you, there are a few books that we’ve read together so many times I can recite them from memory.
Several of the Eric Carle books fall into that category including The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Brown Bear, Brown Bear. My youngest loved The Very Hungry Caterpillar so much that we themed his first birthday party around the book!
Usually, we read together before bed and everyone is finally calmed down for the day. However, I love those rare, lazy afternoons where we are sitting around the living room quietly lost in our books. Of course, when that happens I guarantee that someone will say, “Mom, I’m hungry!”
That’s why I love this collection of recipes we created inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Friends. Each recipe is healthy, fun, and easy enough to make that the boys can create them by themselves.
I hope you enjoy these recipes (and books) as much as we do!
