Even though my family has dessert each night, I do try to make it somewhat healthy. We all have cravings now and then, but I definitely don’t want us to get too much sugar. So, making these parfaits gives us that opportunity! We substitute out the ice cream for lowfat yogurt, top with all our favorite fruits, add in a dash of protein thanks to the pistachios and get that sweet tooth craving satisfied with those mini chocolate chips and caramel sauce. YUM!
Nutrition Tip: The brown spots on a banana do not mean it’s going bad. In fact, it means the antioxidants within are becoming more potent.
