The cooler weather is approaching and I don’t know about you, but we are READY for all things Fall! Pretty leaves, warmer clothes, cozy meals, and of course apple and pumpkin treats. We headed out to the apple orchard last week and got me to thinking of new apple recipes. My kids wanted to buy one of the apple pies and I knew we had to come up with a healthier version of a classic right here at home. These Apple Pie Snack Bars are just that. Loaded with all of our favorite flavors of apple pie but in an easy, bite sized form that are great to pack up for on the go. Just what we all love here. Better yet, you can definitely freeze these individually too for the days you are craving a little sweet snack.

What I love about these apple bars is that they are made with oats, fresh apples, Greek Yogurt, honey, and some pantry staples. So you can feel good about having one (or two) and can feel good about knowing what the kids are snacking on. Baking are own treats helps us cut out some of the boxed processed foods from the store, and this recipe was a hit with our children. So, we will be making these again very soon! And if you want to let them help make this recipe, let them!
