ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 24, 2020 – In an effort to expand its mission to create a healthier generation, Produce for Kids®’ consumer-facing brand is changing to Healthy Family Project. The organization is dedicated to continuing to deliver the resources its audience seeks and extend its effectiveness for current and new partners as it moves into the healthy lifestyle space. The Produce for Kids brand will remain focused within grocery retail, aligning with produce companies to execute in-store campaigns throughout the year. In addition to Produce for Kids, brands under the Healthy Family Project umbrella include; Food Rx, Power Your Lunchbox and Mission for Nutrition

ROUSES MARKETS’ PRODUCE PARTNERS SUPPORTING LOCAL FEEDING AMERICA® MEMBER FOOD BANKS THROUGH PRODUCE FOR KIDS

Thibodaux, LA – Sept. 9, 2020 – Rouses Markets has joined the Produce for Kids® family aligned with 10 produce partners in an effort to educate shoppers on the benefits of healthy eating while supporting local Feeding America® member food banks including Feeding the Gulf Coast, Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana.

POWER YOUR LUNCHBOX ENCOURAGES HEALTHY LUNCHES WHEREVER FAMILIES ARE LEARNING AND WORKING THIS SCHOOL YEAR

ORLANDO, Fla. – Aug. 3, 2020 – Power Your Lunchbox launched today tohelp families set up a routine for nutritious lunches no matter where they are enjoying them this school year – at school or at home. The program, now in its seventh year, has reworked its typical back-to-school messaging and content, developed new lunchbox inspiration and pulled together resources around distance learning and mental health to better serve families. This year, the program’s health-conscious brand partners have committed to a donation of $14,000 to United Fresh Start Foundation to increase access to fresh produce for children and families. Since 2014, Power Your Lunchbox has raised more than $150,000 to benefit charities that support families.
