What we love about this Hearty Beef Stew Recipe

Chuck Roast: When it comes to beef stew, there are a lot of different cuts of meat that you could use. But if you want a healthy and hearty beef stew, chuck roast is the perfect choice. Here’s why – First, chuck roast is a relatively lean cut of meat, so it’s not going to add a lot of unhealthy saturated fat to your stew. Second, the fat content in chuck roast is mostly monounsaturated fat, which is the “good” kind of fat that can actually help improve your cholesterol levels. Finally, chuck roast is also a good source of protein and iron, both of which are important for maintaining a healthy diet.

Garlic: Garlic is a perfect spice to add in because not only does it add flavor, but it also has some great health benefits. Garlic is known for its ability to lower cholesterol and blood pressure. It’s also a natural antibiotic, so it can help to keep your heart healthy. Adding garlic to your beef stew will not only make it tastier, but it may also help to keep you healthy.

Onion: Onion is a good source of fiber, which can help to lower cholesterol and keep your heart healthy. It’s also a good source of antioxidants, which can help to protect against cell damage. Adding onion to your beef stew is an easy way to boost its flavor and nutrition.

Paprika: When it comes to comfort food, beef stew is one of the classics. And while it’s usually heavy on the calories, there are ways to make it healthier. One way is to add paprika. Paprika is a good source of antioxidants, and it is also a good source of vitamin C. This vitamin is important for immunity and can also help keep your skin looking healthy. And last but not least, paprika can help improve circulation and increase blood flow.

Mushrooms, Carrots, and Cauliflower oh my! Mushrooms and carrots are a great source of antioxidants and polyphenols, which have been shown to promote heart health. Then, adding the roasted cauliflower not only gives an additional boost of nutrients, but gives you some added fiber to help you feel more full and satisfied for much longer. And, when you roast the cauliflower you contribute a smoky flavor that will take this already delicious healthy, hearty beef stew over the top!

What to Pair the Healthy Hearty Beef Stew With

You could serve it as is in a bowl perhaps with some toasted garlic wheat bread on the side. Or do half a bowl with a salad or sandwich. We’ve even seen this stew poured over a piping hot baked potato. Talk about comfort food!
