Between school schedules, work, sports practices, homework and the nightly “what’s for dinner?” panic, families need food options that are simple, realistic and actually doable.

That is why Healthy Family Project is proud to partner with Albertsons Companies Mid-Atlantic Division and participating brands for a campaign focused on fresh, family-friendly products that can help make meals and snacks a little less stressful.

From September 4 through October 15, shoppers can discover participating partner products and campaign support in select ACME Markets and Safeway stores. Through in-store radio and campaign materials, families can find convenient options that fit into their everyday routines.

Even better, the campaign will help provide 120,000 meals through Nourishing Neighbors, a program of Albertsons Companies Foundation.

Helping Families and Communities

Nourishing Neighbors works to help end the cycle of hunger by supporting local communities and increasing access to food for families in need. The program has a goal of enabling 1.5 billion meals through 2030 and providing $10 million annually toward hunger relief efforts.

At Healthy Family Project, we believe food has the power to do more than feed families. It can bring people together, support healthy habits and help create stronger communities.

Through campaigns like this one, we can connect families with fresh, convenient meal solutions while helping provide meals to neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

Fresh Ideas for Real Family Life

We know family life is busy. Some nights there is time to prepare a full meal. Other nights, everyone is eating in shifts between practices, meetings and whatever activity somehow landed on the calendar at the same time as dinner.

This campaign is about meeting families where they are with fresh, convenient products that can make everyday meals and snacks a little easier.

From lunchbox additions and after-school snacks to simple sides and weeknight meal solutions, participating partners are helping families find realistic ways to serve more fresh foods without adding more stress to the day.

No complicated meal plans. No pressure to make everything from scratch. No pretending every family sits down calmly for dinner at 6 p.m. sharp.

Just practical options and family-friendly products that work for real life.
