These hearty oatmeal pancakes are a delicious spin on the traditional breakfast. Top with fruit for an added sweet treat.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup oats
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup cooked oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 egg
  • 2 bananas divided

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl combine the flour, oats, baking powder, and cinnamon. Whisk until well combined.

  • In a separate bowl combine the milk, cooked oatmeal, honey, egg, and 1 mashed banana.

  • Mix until combined and add to the dry ingredients.
  • Mix until all is incorporated.

  • Cook over medium heat in a skillet or pan. Flip when bubbles appear in the batter.
  • Serve hot with additional sliced bananas or other fruit, honey, or syrup.
